The Wairarapa stud sheepbreeders’ annual ram and ewe fair was held today Buyers were present from North Auckland,’ Bay of Plenty, Gisborne, Hawke’s Bay, Taranaki, Manawatu, Dunedin and Southland. Despite the unfavourable. season the offerings came forward in excellent condition, and met with a spirited demand. Consistent with their splendid reputation, W. Perry and Son, of Penrose, topped the market a shearling ram falling to the bid of Mr. ’W. Rayner, of Tho Cliffs, Taratahi, at 150gns.- the next highest was one at lOOgns., sold to Mr. Paul Hunter, of Porangahau. ________
