LOWER HUTT BOROUGH

COUNCIL

A meeting of the Lower Hutt Borough Council was held in the Council Chambers last night. His Worship the Mayor (Mr. W. T. Strand) presided, The Hutt Valley District School Committees’ Association wrote asking the council to receive a deputation re the nroposed Hutt Valley High School. The council agreed to receive the deputation at the next council meeting. A report was received from the Works Committee setting out the works suggested to be gone on with, to be paid out of loan moneys recently approved. * The fee for dog registration was fixed at 10s., and Mr. F. J. Adams was appointed registrar.
