AUSTRALIAN STEAMER DRIVEN ASHORE. Sydney, January 21. The coastal steamer Bodalla was driven ashore at Narooma Heads during severe weather on Saturday night. The vessel has b.een abandoned by the crew, and is believed to be a total loss. —Press Assn. [The Bodalla is a wooden twin-screw steamer cf 345 tons net, belonging to the Illawarra and South Coast Steam Navigation Company. She is 130 ft. long, with a breadth of 30ft., and a depth of Bft. Bin.] PRUTH HIGHER ON REEF. Sydney, January 21. Tbe heavy swell has thrown the Pruth higher up on to the icef. The Coringa failed to throw a tow-line aboard .the disabled vessel, over which the breakers are now dashing.— Press Assn.
