CHINESE FRUIT SHOP DAMAGED. At 11.27 o’clock last night the Fire Brigade received a cajl to No, 129 Willis Street, a two-storied fruit shop occupied by Ernest Hni yen, a. Cbmesc. A fire had broken out in. the storeroom, hut the brigade quicklv suppressed the flames. The store room nnd the contents, of the shop were damaged. The building, which is owned by Mr. Thomas Burin of Ghuznee Street, is insured in the National Office, init the amount of the policy was not known last night. The contents were covered hy a policy for £3OO in the New Zealand office.
