DUTCH SCHOONER’S CREW ACQUITTED.' (Rec. January 10, 7.20 p.m.) New York, January 9. The jury acquitted the crew of the Dutch schooner Zeehond on the charge of rum running on which they had been held since early in December.— Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. [The schooner was seized outside the three-mile limit when carrying a cargo of choicest champagnes and liquors valued at 300,000 dollars. The captain insisted that the vessel belonged to an Amsterdam syndicate, was bound from Antwerp to Halifax, was becalmed and borne shoreward by the tide.
