David Kelly has been found guilty of burning the corpse of Mrs. Overall, at Millgrove, and itemanded for sentence.

Tlie Victorian Cabinet had a long debate on the question of the compensation claims in respect to the damage during the riots, and decided to adhere to its previous decision l ot 10 recognise liability.
Fifteen hoys, whose ages range from six to thirteen, were arrested in Mel bourne on charges of unlawfullv entering a shop and doing wilful damage While a cake shop in Port Melbourne was being repaired the children forced an entrance and smashed mirrors, windows, and fittings, and the damage i* set down at £l5O.
Mr. C. W. Oakes, New South Wales Minister of Public Health, outlined the main features of the Hospital Bill to a meeting of hospital representativtes. He explained that a commission would be appointed to control all hospitals. Contributions would be compulsory, with subsidies from the Government. The principle of volunta-y contributions would still be maintained.
A man believed to be William Perrott, alias Edward Moon, who was boarding for some time at a house at Randwick, Sydney, became eccentric in his behaviour, and received notice to quit. Ho left the premises, but returned early in the morning, removed portion of the roof, and entered the homie, which ho set fire to, and then went to an adjoining park and committed suicide by hanging. The fire was easily subdued.
