VADUE OF TINTED GLASS IN LAMPS. London, December 3. Thp Ebbur Vale Colliery Company announces that the experiments made with canary-yellow tinted glass in lamps in the hope of eradicating miners’ nystagmus, are so satisfactory that arrangements are being made to introduce tinted glasses in all its collieries. The company adds: “It is hoped that this simple alteration will prevent as well as cure a disease from which thousands of miners are suffering.”—Aus.N.Z. .Cable Assn.
