THE NASH CASE
WIFE INTENDS TO APPEAL. The Nash case came before Mr. Justice MacGregor in the Supreme Court yesterday by way of a summons for security of the wife’s costs of appeal, and also a motion to dispense with the necessity for the wife finding security for her husband’s costs. Mr. D. R. Hoggard, who appeared for the husband (William Henry Nash) said that respondent (Mary Maud Nash) had given notice of appeal against the decision of the Full Court. His Honour said he knew nothing about the case. . Mr. G. Toogood said that the hull Court had dismissed a motion for a new trial, and his client was now desirous of going to thp Court of ApHis Honour suggested that the matter should be taken by a Judge who was familiar with the case. Counsel eventually agreed to extend the time for giving security to six weeks.
