Tho New South Wales Cabinet is devising a measure to place a levy on stockowners on the same lines as that made by the Queensland Act recently passed.

After ten years’ construction work, the North Coast railway, linking Sydney and Tweed, was opened on Sunday. Trains will leave Sydney at (.30 p.m., and arrive at Murwillumbah at 9.30 ’ the following evening.
