In the Police Court, Arthur George Amundsen was committed for trial for the theft of a bicycle, a lady’s gold watch, chain, and pendant, and a sum of money. Bail was refused, the police stating that several other charges were to be preferred against the accused, who was a dangerous man, and they did not know what might happen if he got about the country.
