The first series of ping-pong tournaments was held last night in.tho Y.M.C.A. rooms, a large number of players from the different clubs m town competing. In the final of, the singles, Berthold (of the Government Insurance Club) beat P. Williams-33 31. In the final of the doubles Mulhane' and C. F. Williams (of the Government Insurance Club) beat Shadbolt and Berthold, 31 —20.
