A LOST CUP

VALUABLE CROQUET TROPHY Hie valuable cup won at the North Island Croquet Championship, played at Palmerston North at Easter, has mysteriously disappeared. The holder of the cup was returning to Wellington by train last 'fight, and in order to take no chance of losing the valuable tr'jphy, kept it in the railway carriage with her personal luggage. The last seen the cup was at Ngaio, and when AA 7 ellington was leached it could not be found. The cup was in an oak cabinet. The loss of the cup has been reported to tfie police.
