NEW GAS MASK
WEARERS ABLE TO CONVERSE. (Rec. April 16, 0.35 a.m.) Washington, April 15. The chemical warfare service of the United States Army has announced that perfection has been reached in a gas mask, which is believed will prove adequate protection against every known gas and bv means of a special diaphragm tho wearers will be able to conduct conversations, thus making it possible for officers in battle to give orders without removing tho mask. — Aus.-N.Z.
