LOADING FRUIT FOR AUCKLAND. The Union Co. announce that their Kawatiri left Suva on Saturday afternoou for Nukualofa, where she will load fruit for Auckland. LIGHT DAMAGED AT SUVA. The Marino Department yesterday advised that the Wailogilala Light at Suva has been damaged by storm, and an inferior fixed white light Is now showing. THE MOERAKI. The Moeraki, from Wellington, Is due at Melbourne to-day. Sho is to teayo there on Thursday for Wellington direct and thence Lyttelton. Dunedin, aud Bluff. THE KENTUCKY. The Federal Line state that the steamer Kentucky will leave Wellington to-mor-row for New Plymouth to continue discharge of her New York cargo. THE HANNAH DEPARTS. The C. and IX Line advise that tho Port Auckland will leave Auckland at noon to-day for Wellington, where she is due on Thursday morning to continue discharge of her New York cargo. The veesol sailed trom Wellington on February 23. THE PORT CAROLINE. The O. and D. Lino steamer Port Caroline is due back at Wellington this morning from Lyttelton fill up. She will leave here on Thursday for London, via Montevideo. MATAKANA EEI'OJiTED. A cable message received by the Shaw, Savill and Albion Co. reports that the Matak'ana. cn routo from Liverpool to Australia, passed Hie Cape of Good Hope on April 5ORARI LEAVES SYDNEY. A cable message received by the New Zealand Shipping Co. announces that tho Orarl left Sydney oil Saturday for Brisbane to continue discharge of cargo from Liverpool. THE PORT NICHOLSON. Bad weather compelled the C. and D. Line steamer Port Nicholson to leave the Wanganui roadstead to shelter at Guard's Hank, where she was anchored yesterday. The vessel will return to. the Wanganui roadstead this morning to continue loading and ia to sail to-mglit for Auckland for further loading. PIAKO LEAVES COLON. The Federal Lino have been notified by cable that the Piako arrived at Panama, on April 3 from Auckland, and loft Colon on April 4 for Boston and West Coast ports of the United Kingdom. The yessel sailed from Auckland on March 10.

Tahiti arrived at Sydney at 5.30 o'clock last evening, after making a trip in the exceptionally fast time of 76 hours from Wellington. On the whole trip from San Francisco to Sydney the Tahiti was four days ahead of schedule time when she reached her destination. The Tahiti is an oil burner. RUAHINE AT WELLINGTON. The New Zealand Shipping Comnany’n liner Ruahine, which left Auckland at 7 a.m. ou Saturday for Wellington to put out the remainder of her London cargo .encountered heavy weather on the run down the coast, and did not arrive in the stream, at Wellington until 9 o’clock last night. The vessel will berth at No. 1 centre (outer tee). Queen's Wharf, early this morning. The Ruahine will sail from Wellington on Thursday evening to load at Port Chalmers and Lyttelton, and is duo back at IVellington on Anril 21 to fill no. The vessel la to leave Wellington on April 25 for Southampton and London, via Panama Canal. MISCELLANEOUS. The Union Co.’s Corinna is to load at Dunedin to-morrow and then at Oamaru, Timaru, and Lyttelton for Wellington. Nelson, and New Plymouth. , Johnston and Co. announce that the Ripple is due at Wellington on Thursday from Gisborne, via the East Coast. She is to return to Akitio. Napier, and Gisborne later the same day. The Kaliika, from Dunedin. Oamaru, Timaru, and Lyttelton, is expected at Wellington to-morrow ta load for New Plymouth and Nelson. This vessel should arrive back at Wellington next Sunday to load on Monday for Bluff. Dunedm. Oamaru, aud Timaru. Charles McArtnur and Co. announce that the Opua should arrive at Wellington to-morrow from Lyttelton. In that event she will receive cargo to-morrdw and on Thursday, and will get away on Thursday for Westport and Greymouth. The Nikau will be under overhaul for about twelve days. The Kaimanawa will be dispatched from Wellington this evening for Westport, to load coal back to Wellington.
