By Telegraph.—press association Auckland, April 6. Alfred Deakin Nicholson, who was a boarder at the Salvation Army Hotel Metropole, and who liacl recently been working in the. King Country, jumped from the roof of the hotel and was killed. Evidence at the inquest went to show that deceased had been depressed. probably as a result of drinking. The Coroner found a verdict of suicide.
