UNIQUE FEAT IN CHAMPIONSHIP PLAY. (Rec. April 6, 7.25. p.m.) London, April 6. A unique feat in the history of the billiard championship is reported. Newman scored. 542, then potted Inman’s ball and left a double balk. Inman failed to score. Newman went to his points .with 585—an unfinished, flawless break. Inman did not a point during the session. Newman’s score is now 5334 and Inman s 3413.—Au5.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
