AVIATION IN NEW ZEALAND

RECORD OF ELEVEN MONTHS. During the past eleven months, aviators in New Zealand have made 1124 flights, of total approximate machine mileage of 14,517. The number of passengers carried has been 2112, and the average mileage per flight 12.9. Three companies—the New Zealand Elying School, Auckland, the Canterbury .Aviation Company. Sockburn, and the New Zealand Aero Transport Company, Timaru —have been operating. Pilots, have recently undergone refresher courses at tle ' Auckland and Sockburn aerodromes.
