A BOY DROWNED
By Tblecbaph.—Press association. Greymouth, March 26. Overbalancing from the stern of a boat in which lie was playing, C. V incent Knapp, aged twelve years, was drowned about 150 yards below the Cobden Bridge yesterday, at 5 o clock. Deceased was a lad of considerable promise, as an athlete and a vocalist. On Saturday at Dunnollie sports Knapp won the 75 yards schoolboys championship of the West Coast.
