SAILORS’ FRIEND SOCIETY

The pleasant evening arranged for departing seamen by Mr. CLude Sander at the Sailors' Friend Society on Thursctey was inVeh appreciated by the guests. Mr. B. T. Jones was in the chair. Tho .’performers were: Misses Crow, D. Sander, E. Stores, Morris, and Messrs. C. Sander, Martin, and two sailors. An efficient orchestra gave pleasing items undex - the leadership of Miss Naper. Mr. C. Sander was at- tho piano. The prizes in the competitions came from Mrs. Yule, and went to the Port Curtis am! Armagh.
