RIVAL FACTIONS
AUSTRALIAN LABOUR SPLIT MORE THREATS TO EXPEL By Telegraph.—Press Association. —Copybight. Sydney, March 20. The rival factions in the Labour movement are continuing the campaign of Press recriminations. Many Labour leagues and unions are inviting Mr. Dooley to put his case before them, despite the threats of the executive that such action will be regarded as contumacy and be followed by expulsion. The executive has also communicated with several members of Parliament. who are issuing statements to the Press, notifying them that they will be expelled unless the statements cease.
The Federal Labour Executive so far has not replied to the request that it should intervene for the sake of peace.—Press Assn.
