WAR DEBT TO AMERICA 1 NO POSTPONEMENT OF INTEREST By telegraph.—press association. —CorYKIGHT. (Rev. March 20, 8.40 p.m.) Washington, March 19. The Treasury Department has announced that Britain will not take advantage of the provision of the debt settlement whgreby Britain could postpone the payment of half interest during the first five years, but will during 1923 make a payment of interest totalling 138,000,000 dollars, and principal 23,000,000 dollars. —Aus.-N.Z.
