[The counter-proposals made by Angora were summarised in a message published yesterday. They include the maintenance of conventions regarding the Straits and the Thracian frontier. They, suggest that the frontier between Turkey and Irak should be amicably settled between Turkey and Britain within a year of the agreement coming into operation; failing agreement that the dispute bo referred to the League of Nations. The Turks also propose that the Franco-Turkish agreement regarding Syria shall remain in force. Ismet Pasha, in a covering letter, declared that concessions which the Turks had already made, including the cession of Gallipoli graveyards, were all tnat the National Assembly considered possible.]
