DETAILS OF RECENT SALES Messrs. Levin and Co., Ltd., report as follows on stock sales for the week ended Marell 10: —At Itengotea, on Wednesday, a good yarding of all olasjos came iorward, and though prices were easier than recent quotations, wo had a good clearance. Quotations :—Good store pigs, 335. : weaner pigs, 145., 155., 165.; email weaners, 9s. At Feiidmg, on Friday, we liad a heavy yarding of sheep and a very small entry of cattle. There was a good attendance of the public. Bidding was not animated, and all classes, especially breeding ewes, declined in value. A number of pens were passed at auction. However, we effected a good clearance privately after *he sale. Ltd., Palmerston North, report on the sales of last week as below:—At the Hunterville sale on Tuesday, Maxell 6, there was a good entry of sheep and a small yarding of cattle. At the Alangaweka sale on Thursday, March 8, there was a good yarding of sheep and a fair entry of cattle. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Palmerston North, report on the Raumar sale on Tuesday, March 13. There was a good yarding of siheen and a poor entry of cattle. Sheep sold freely all lines being disposed of. The New Zealand Farmers’ Distributing Co., Ltd., report having held a special cattle sale at their Columbia Road yards, Masterton, on Tuesday, when they offered 605 head to buyers from Pahiatua, Palmerston North, and the surrounding districts; 563 head were sold at prices in many cases above owners’ reserves. Sheep met a. ready sale, prices being quite up to recent quotations. Cattle, little inquiry.
