THREE PETITIONS HEARD Three divorce cases were heard by His Honour Mr. Justice Chapman yesterday afternoon. HOBBS V. HOBBS.
John Stamp Hobbs, for whom Mr. C. G. White appeared, was granted a decree nisi, to be moved absolute in three months, in a petition for the dissolution of his marriage with Elizabeth Hobbs on the ground of desertion. His Honour directed that the decree should not bo sealed until the petition was put in order. DUNCAN V. DUNCAN. Albert Duncan sought a dissolution of marriage with Irene Myrtle Duncan on the ground of desertion. Mr. HF. Johnstone appeared on. behalf of the petitioner. After hearing evidence, His Honour granted a decree nisi, to be made absolute in three months, with costs against the respondent on the lorer scale. CAMBRIDGE V. CAMBRIDGE. Margaret Millioent Cambridge, of Auckland, sought a dissolution of her marriage with Herbert Clarence Cambridge, on the ground of misconduct. Mr. Putnam appeared for the petitioner petitioner stated that she was married to the respondent on May 20, 1913, ’nd lived with him until January, 1920. Before leaving her. respondent admitted misconduct with another woman, and witness produced letters and a photograph as evidence. Further evidence was called, and a decree nisi granted.
