MAGISTRATE’S COURT
Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., dealt with the police cases in the Magistrate’s Court on Saturday. Charged with assaulting John Fishor, a young man named Frank Ranfurly ■'Badman was fined £5, iib default 14 days’ imprisonment. Florence Turner, on charges of in sobriety and committing a breach of her prohibition order, was remanded for a week for medical treatment. Michael Crowley, against whom there was one previous conviction for drunkenness, was fined 10s., with the option of spending 48 hours in gaol.
