ATHLETICS
At Athletic Park to-day the Wellington Amateur Athletic Club will hold its' annual sports meeting. Chib members will compete for trophies which have been in tho club’s possession for nearly 30 years, and in addition the priar.s' and secondary schools will bo fighting for clmninionshin bonniirs for challenge cups presented by Mr. L. Blundell. The ladies have not been forgotten, Aliss Etevenoaux having presented a fine challenge cup, to he" held by tho ladies’ team winning tho rclav race, in which Alasterton will be represented. Notable among to-day's performers will be Tracy, Griffin, Rose. Alunro. Wilson, Rowe, Paris, and Melrose, the first five being New Zealand champions in their respective events. Included in a full and attractive programme are several cycling races.
