4 TO BE RAISED IN THE WINTER Wellington people may expect a rise in (he price of milk as from April 1. Milk is more difficult to produce in quantity in tho winter than in the spring nvd summer, and, whilst it was at one time thought that the existing price might suffice as a. flat rate throughout the year, that has not proved to bo the case. At the adjourned meeting of tho City Council, tn be hckl on Monday, Councillor C. B. Norwood, as chairman of the Milk Committee, will ask the council to fix a new price for tho winter months.
