RUNAN(}A WINS B GRADE AGGREGATE. BY TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION. Dunedin, February 21. The band contest was continued today, the solos being disposed of during the day, and the B grade test selection at night. The aggregate in the latter was won by the Runanga Municipal Band, with the Christchurch Tramways'Band second. Following are tho results :—' B Flat Cornet Solo (open).—H. F. Vincent (Wellington Watepsiders), 96 points, 1; H. J. T. Osborne (Ist Canterbury Mounted Rifles), 95, 2; G. Christie (St. Kilda), 94, 3. Also competed : W. G. Stephenson (Runanga Municipal). 93; Rex Wills (Hibernian), 93; R. Phillips (Redfern), 92; J. McGrath (Wanganui Garrison), 90: G. Kerr (Runanga Municipal), 87; A. A. Taylor (South Canterbury Battalion), 86; H. Berry (Redfern), 89: L. Simonson (Hastings Citizens), 85; E. J. Kerr (Kaikorai), 84: R. Ohlson (Ist Canterbury), 84: R. Farquharson (Kaikorai). 82; F. In announcing his decision, the Judge, Mr. Christophers, of Adelaide, said that tho bands placed first and second were good enough for the A grade competition.

The A grade first test selection will be played to-morrow night.
