Hoong Ching, whose errant Celestial eve became so focussed upon passing girls that he was oblivious to the passage of a tramcar until the moment of its impact with the motor lorry he was driving in A T ivian Street, was convicted by Air. F. K. Hunt. S.M., yesterday, and ordered to. pay costs, on a charge of negligent driving.. Sergeant Cox said that it was not the case that Ching was endeavouring to avoid tho girls when he struck the tramcar. He was not keeping a good look-out.
