FIRE AT SEATOUN

HOUSE GUTTED. At 12.2 p.m. yesterday the fire brigade received a call to an outbreak in a five-roomed house at 37 Seatoun Read, owned and occupied by Mr. J. Perry. The brigade quickly extinguished tho blaze, but as the fire had obtained a considerable hold before the arrival of tho fire-fighters, the whole of the contents were destroyed. Considerable damage was also done to the interior structure. The owner a son was the only one on tho premises at the time, and he received slight injuries. Tho contents were insured for £lOO and the building for £6OO. The above report should prompt those who are vnninsured to call on the Australian Provincial Assurance Assn., Ltd. (A.P.A.), without further delay.— Advt.
