HEALTH WEEK

CONFERENCE TO BE HELD 'Phe proposal recently before the City Council for a “Health Week” is taking definite shape. A preliminary meeting was held on Thursday morning. Councillors H. D. Bennett (chairman), C. H. Chapman (hon. secretary), and W. A. Parton were among those present, and explained tho attitude of the council on the matter. Others present included Dr. Frengley (Department of Health), Hon. DrCollins, M.L.C.', and Dr. Morgan (Red Cross Society), Messrs. F. Castle and C. M. Luke (Hospital Board). Arrangements are being made to hold a conference at an early date.
