As a result of the deliberations of the Works Committee of the City Council on Wednesday it has been decided to push on with the work of extending the retaining wall m Oriental Bay along the foreshore to Point Jerningham. There are plans to prepare in triplicate, but every endeavour is to be made to accelerate the work as much as possible.
