YOUTH WILL PLEAD’GUILTY Stanley Winwood McKissick Read, 18 years of age, appeared before Mr. W. G. Riddell, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court yesterday, charged with breaking and entering by day the warehouse of Bing, Harns, and Co., Ltd., and stealing therefrom goods to the value of £29 4s. 6d. Chief-Detective Kemp stated that accused had been arrested on Wednesday by Detective Hunt. He applied for a remand until September Mr. C. A. L. Treadwell said that he had been instructed not to ask for bail. Accused intended to. plead, guilty and was desirous of remaining in custody until the case was heard. The remand was granted.
