The Queensland Premier ha® announced that it was under the terms of an agreement reached at tho 1921 Imperial Conference that the prohibition i>F’ the employment of Indians in the banana industry has been removed. He added that it was not contemplated to make similar exemptions in regard to Indians employed* in the sugar industry.
