CRITICAL SITUATION
FOREIGN OFFICIALS IN EGYPT ' ' DISMISSED. (Rec. June 28, 5.5 p.m.) Cairo, June 27. A critical situation has arisen owing to the Egyptian Government dismissing nineteen foreign officials from the irrigation department in the middle of negotiations for the regulation of the position of foreign officials in the Egyptian service. Feeling is 'running high among foreign officials that the dismissals are due to a political motive. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
