MEETING OF BOARD OF GOVERNORS. a meeting pf the Technical Colleae Board of Governors was heM on Monday. Mr. W. H. Bennett was in the chair, and also present were Messrs. J. J. Clark, Len. McKenzie, T. Ballinger, T. Forsyth, W. Pascoe, L R. Partridge, J. Barrar, J. O. Shorland, G. S. Stpwart, C, H. Chapman, C A. Lawrence, Mrs. J- Hannah, and Mr. J. H. Howell (director). The director presented his monthly report, which was adopted. A statement presented regarding the financial position, in connection with the new building is reported in another C °The n ’Building Trades Committee reported that having, considered the conditiohs of instruction provided for the building, trades, it recommended that the Master Builders’ Association, the Amalgamated Society of Carjienters and Joiners, and the Wellington branch of the Institute of Architects be asked each to appoint one member of a committee to consult with the to inquire into the courses <>t instruction and tho vzorkshop equipment, and to report to the beard. The board then went into committee on finance.
