Tho quarterly meeting of the council of the AVeilington Provincial Lawn Tennis Association will be held in the Accountants’ Chambers to-night. Dealing hvith the acuto shortage of grounds the report states that the Grounds' Committee has been unremitting in its efforts to secure suitable grounds for courts, but has so far been unsuccessful. Negotiations are still progressing, and it is hoped that by the end of the winter a definite result will be obtained. The Wellington Accountant Students’ Society will hold their public-speaking competition on Wednesday, July 5, as advertised.
