RECEPTION TO ROSINA BUCKMAN

ON MONDAY AT 5 P.M. Owing to the late arrival of the lonic the Mayor (Mr R. A M right, M.P.) announced yesterday that we civic reception to Miss Rosin a Buckman would not take place until 5 p.m. on Monday, which will give most of those interested in the event the opportunity of being present. I lie reception will take place in the Concert Chamber. The speakers beside the Mayor will be the Prime Minister (Right Hon. W. F. Massey), Sir Joseph Ward, Councillor Thomas Forsyth (representing the City Council), and Mr. Robert Parker (representing the musical societies, past and present). . . , The Tonic is due to arrive here, at about 10 a.m. on Monday.
