HARRIERS
SEASON TO OPEN TO-DAY. The official opening of tlie harrier season will take place to-day at Lyall Bay {it 3 p.m. The .Mayor (Mr. R. A. Wright) has .been asked to declare the season open. This season it is anticipated that over 200 members of the various clubs will bo present, and as the usual run homo takes place down the straight to Lyall Bay, a, very fine sight should be presented. Clubs taking part are as follow:—Olympic, Wellington, Brooklyn, and Scottish.
