GREEK FINANCE
APPLICATION FOR LONDON LOAN WITHDRAWN.
London, February 27. The proposal to grant Greece facilities to raise money in London, which aroused the indignation of Moslems in India and elsewhere, who considered such assistance a help to Greece in the war against Turkey, appears to have been abandoned. An announcement has been made that the Greek Government’s application for a loan has been withdrawn. —Reuter.
