THE NEW POLITICAL PARTY
By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, September 19. The aims and objects of the new political party were outlined to-night by Mr. C. E. Statham, M.P., who addressed a fairly large meeting in the Choral Hall. Dr. Thacker, M.P. (Mayor), presided. Mr. Statham’s speech was on the lines of those recently delivered in Dunedin and Invercargill. He was accorded a hearty vote of thanks and appreciation.
