ANNIVERSARY SERVICES
The thirty-fourth anniversary of the Kent Terrace Presbyterian Sunday School was celebrated yesterday by special services in the church. Tho Rev. James Baird, 8.A., preached in the morning, taking for his subject the words "A broken reed will Ho not break, the smoking flax will He not quench." In the afternoon the Rev. R. H. Catherwood addressed the scholars, Bible Class members, and parents on tho text Matthew 5—13, "Ye are the salt of the earth," urging tho boys and girls to bo upright and manly, to honestly confess their faults, and to practice nobility of character and purity of life. Ju the evening tho Rev. Dr. J. Kennedy Elliott spoke on the text, "Let me die tho death of the righteous, and let my last end be like T*s/’ A feature of the anniversary was tho excellent singing by a largo choir of Sunday School children, assisted by members of the Church Choir and Gloa Club, under the leadership of Mr. E. 0. Jack. Mr. L. Butcher officiated at the organ.
