DIVORCE COURT

DECREES ABSOLUTE GRANTED. Two decrees absolute were granted by His Honour Mr. Justice Salmond in the Divorce Court yesterday. A decree nisi, with custody of a child, granted to Clara Zingley Zander against William Zander, was made absolute on similar terms. Edith Henrietta Croucher (Mr. O’Regan) obtained from Martin Croucher, Wanganui (Mr. Hanna! a decree nisi two years ago, respondent Iwing ordered to pay alimony at the rat© or £3 a week. Since that time he had, said Mr. O’Regan, allowed tho payment of alimony to fall into arrears to the amount of £199. Tho petitioner had mniintrtinod herself by keeping a boardinghouse at the Hutt. Croucher gave evidence that ho was receiving only £2 10s. a week as .wages on a farm. His Honour granted a decree absolute, and ordered alimony to bo paid at the rate of £1 10s. n week. By consent of the petitioner the outstanding alimony was written off. Tho petitioner was given custody of tho issue of the marriage.
