The Westport Union has lodged a request for a match on a Saturday at Westport against the French team next year, find it was decided to reply that favourable consideration would bo given
th the request when the itinerary of the French team was being made up. It was suggested that this fixture should be made ns some consolation for the disappointment suffered by the West Coasters over the South African match. It was resolved to inform the Auckland Union that it was its duty to find out if Singe had played under tho League rules, as had been alleged, and if the allegation had foundation in fact to give the player in question fourteen days in which to show cause why he should not be suspended by tho Auckland Union, and the suspension, if it bo ordered, to be reported to the New Zealand Union. The Auckland Union applied for ft monetary grant to enable the union to further. the interests of the game. It was decided to reply that the application could not be considered because the New Zealand Union was short of funds. The following players were readmitted or reinstated:—George Jackson (Taihape); Percy X. Webb (Hikitahi); Roy Ifwersen (Auckland); Ernest Herring (Auckland); John Henry long (Auckland); Phillip J. Wood (Auckland); Robert John Boss (Auckland); and Andrew G. M'Hugh (Auckland).
