ACCIDENTS IN THE CITY
THREE ADMISSIONS TO HOSPITAL. Three accident cases were admitted to the hospital yesterday. Max Cummings, 28 years of age, residing at 95 Ghuzheo Street, was admitted at 8.30 a.m., suffering from injuries to his right hand, received while working at the machinery in the Automatic Bakeries, where he was employed. Later in tho day John Reed, a boy aged 71 years, whose parents reside at 36 Alacfarlane Street, had his right leg broken through being knocked down by a motor-ear. The accident took place in Alacfarlane Street.
Early in the evening J. Thomas, n. married man, aged 42 years, a waterside worker, met with an accident while working on tho AVaimea. A cask of white lead fell on his right leg, breaking it below the knee. The injured man resides at Houghton Bay Road, Afelroee. Late last night all three patients were reported to be progressing satisfactorily.
