EXTENSION OF HOURS.
By Telegraph-riPr/iss Association. ' Christchurch, April 27. Judgment has been given by Mr. S. E. M'Carthy, S.M., on applications by small shopkeepers for an extension of trading hours. Provisional extension was . granted until 7 o’clock on four days of | the week and 9 o’clock on one day, a condition being that the ordinary halfholiday must be observed.
