KIRKWOOD IN ENGLAND.

R. E. Howard, writing to the “Sportsman," says that Kirkwood should do very well at St. Andrew’s, where tho links, nlmcst more than any in the world, ought to suit the flat flying shot which Kirkwood prefers with both woods and irons. His 73 at Cooden Beach astonished everybody, not by the result, but by his unorthodox style.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
