BRITISH CHEMISTS
PROTECTION FOR NEW INDUS-
TRIES URGED.
London, February 16.
Lord Moulton, addressing the Association of British Chemical Manufacturers, said no nation bad chemists superior in quality to tiro British, though some foreigners had vastly superior experience. British manufacturers had a right to say to the Government. "You compelled us to take industries up because of the immediate need at u cost we never believed could be remunerative. We therefore ought to be allowed time in which to be sheltered from outer competition until we are capable of doing the work per-manently.”—Aus.-N.Z. Cable. Assn.
