A CZECHO-SLOVAKIAN SCHEME.

A. Shropshire syndicate has arranged with Liverpool bankers and cotton brokers to advance £400,000 towards a scheme for sowing cotton in Czccho-Slovakia, where it will be finished and manufactured into yarns and other goods for exportation to Britain and the Dominions. Two of the most prominent textile firms iu Czecho-Slovakia will carry out the work on a profit-sharing basis. Tho Czecho-Slovakian Government and a combine of C'zcclx/banks will guarantee tho enterprise.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
