Bing, Harris and Co., Ltd., who were convicted' and fiued £3000. in the aggregate on threo charges or eeMing Mosgiel tweeds so ns to obtain an unreasonable commercial profit, have lodged an appeal against the decision of .Mr. J S Evans, S.M., who hoard the cases. Security for appeal-thc amount o£ the fine and costs-has been lodged.
